Standing Committees
Interprofessional Education Committee
(多職種連携教育委員会)
This committee originated from the "Interprofessional Education" (IPE) division of "Learning Strategies Committee", which previously integrated the "Teaching Material Development & Standardized Patient (SP) Committee" and the "Community Medicine & Interprofessional Education Committee". It became an independent "Interprofessional Education Subcommittee" in the 21st and 22nd terms and was officially restructured as the "Interprofessional Education Committee" in the 23rd term.
Until now, the committee has primarily approached interprofessional education through the lens of professional roles and attributes. Moving forward, we aim to broaden this perspective by recognizing healthcare as an integral part of society. To achieve this, we will explore and implement collaborative practices through case studies and research involving diverse stakeholders, including patients, families, government agencies, architects, IT specialists, local communities, students, and faculty from various disciplines.
To further this goal, we seek to collaborate with various academic societies and communities, fostering a more comprehensive and inclusive approach to interprofessional collaboration.
